Meet Hannah & Chené

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (BDietetics)

We're Hannah and Chené, two registered dietitians who turned shared "internship trauma" at the University of Pretoria into a lifelong friendship and thriving vision.

As friends and professionals based in two different provinces (Chené in Gauteng and Hannah in Limpopo), we saw the perfect opportunity to make dietetic care more accessible, more personal, and way more convenient. That's why we decided to take our expertise online and provide individualised, evidence-based dietetic services to patients across South Africa.

Rooted in passion, guided by science and fuelled by a genuine love for helping people feel their best, we are here to make nutrition simple, sustainable and supportive.

Welcome to our virtual practice, where friendly meets professional and healthy meets doable.

Child and Maternal Health

Dietitians support child and maternal health by providing evidence-based nutrition guidance throughout pregnancy, breastfeeding, infancy, and childhood. They help mothers meet increased nutritional needs, manage common concerns such as nausea, gestational diabetes, or nutrient deficiencies, and support healthy weight gain. For infants and children, dietitians guide feeding practices, complementary feeding, growth and development, allergy prevention, and managing conditions such as picky eating or faltering growth, helping to build a strong foundation for lifelong health.

Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, Hypertension, etc)

Dietitians play a vital role in chronic disease management by helping individuals use nutrition as a key tool to manage and improve their condition. They provide personalised meal plans and practical strategies to support conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, and high cholesterol. By focusing on sustainable dietary changes, dietitians help improve blood markers, manage symptoms, support medication effectiveness, and enhance overall quality of life while empowering individuals to make long-term healthy choices.

Weight management

Dietitians support weight management by providing personalised, realistic, and sustainable nutrition guidance tailored to each individual’s lifestyle, health status, and goals. They focus on building healthy eating habits, improving relationship with food, and addressing factors such as emotional eating, portion control, and metabolism. Rather than quick fixes, dietitians promote long-term behaviour change to support healthy weight loss, weight gain, or maintenance while protecting overall health and wellbeing.

Gut Health

Dietitians play a key role in managing gut health by identifying dietary triggers, correcting nutrient imbalances, and supporting a healthy gut microbiome. They assess symptoms such as bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, reflux, and food intolerances, and develop individualised nutrition plans to address the root cause.

Sports Nutrition

Dietitians play a key role in sports dietetics by helping athletes fuel their bodies for optimal performance, recovery, and overall health. They provide personalised nutrition plans tailored to the individual’s sport, training load and body composition goals. Dietitians also guide athletes on hydration, timing of meals, supplementation, and recovery nutrition, while ensuring dietary choices support long-term health.
